Playschool
Our staff have a wide range of experience in child care. All members of staff are fully qualified and are passionate about providing the best possible childcare and eduction to each and every individual child.
Carly is the manager of the setting. She is the mother of 3 girls who all attended the playschool. Carly became involved by becoming a member of the committee and helping with the day to day running of the setting. Whilst volunteering she gained her Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development and subsequently her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children's Care, Learning and Development. Carly was a volunteer in the setting for 7 years, working with children with Additional Learning Needs and completing admistration, before becoming the manager in September 2015

Carly Barker
Nikki is also a mother of 3 children, two boys and a girl. Nikki has been working for the playgroup for over 10 years, taking a short break to have her youngest child coming back to the setting 7 years ago. She is qualified with level 3 in Children's Care and Education. She has lots of experience in child care and education, through her own experiences and through the setting. Nikki became involved in the setting when her eldest started in the playgroup and all her children have attended the setting over the years.

Laura Barker
Laura has been with the playgroup for the past four years. Before this she came to the setting for work experience whilst completing her Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development. Laura doesn't have any children of her own yet, but with plenty of nieces and nephews has lots of personal experience as well as professional! She has recenty completed Level 3 in Management and is currently working on the Level 5 in Management for Child Care, Learning and Development.
Janet Jones
Janet has been with the setting since the start and was one of the original members of staff when it opened over 25 years ago. She is a mother of 2 grown children and a grandmother of 2. She has many years experience in caring for children, both within the setting, her own children, as well as being a local community figure with Brownies and Guides. Janet is qualified at Level 3 in Child Care, Learning and Development.
Amy, like Laura isn't a mum as yet, but has plenty of experience with extended family and by completing extensive work experience whilst training. She has been with us since September 2015 but has had lots of experience in our setting over the past two years whilst training. She is qualified at Level 3 in Child Care, Learning and Development.
Steph has been with the setting for the past year. She is a mother of two children, who have both attended the nursery in the past 3 years. She became involved with the setting whist her children were attending, helping out. She is Cache level 2 in Children's Learning qualified and is currently working towards Level 3 Child Care, Learning and Development.
